Homemade liquid laundry soap

Today, it was back into the kitchen to make up more laundry liquid and this time it actually worked the way I pictured it would😊 For roughly $4, I made up 10-11L of laundry detergent. So here is the recipe for those keen on making their own toxin free and chemical free laundry detergent in less then 30mins. 1/4 cup of bicarb 1/4 cup of borax 1/2 cup of washing soda 1/2 cake of natural soap Approx. 10L of water. Follow this method and you can't go wrong 😉 1. Cut your cake of soap in half 2. Set aside one half for next time. 3. With the other half, cut it into small/tiny pieces. 4. Boil a jug of water and pour it into a large saucepan (my saucepan is 5L), then add the cut soap. 5. Boil another jug of water and pour into the pot. Allow to simmer on medium heat until the soap is dissolved. Add another jug of boiling water to the pot. Be sure to continue stirring. 6. Once the soap is fully dissolved and by this stage, I had approximately 4L of water in my saucepan. Pour it into a bucket (I used a 20L bucket). Then add in the borax, washing soda and bicarb into the bucket. MIX!!MIX!! MIX!! until all is dissolved. 7. Now, fill up the black bucket to approximately 10L with warm water and mix again 😊 8. The rest is up to you .... leave it in the bucket and put on the lid or pour into your desired containers 😊
